I switched to Windows 8 when I
got a new laptop last year on Thanksgiving, and since them I am using it
daily. It was my first experience with Windows 8 and I must say I like
it so far, there is no feature in
Windows 8 that I don’t like, however I have come across some people who don’t like Win 8 and most of all complain about the missing Start button. This has never been a problem to me, but in case you don’t like it then Microsoft had released (a couple months ago actually) a pair of computer mice with the button incorporated.
The first one is called as Sculpt Comfort Mouse and as you can see in the image below, it has a Windows Start button attached to it on left (sadly left handed person would not be able to use it).
The Sculpt Comfort Mouse has a touch-sensitive blue strip on its side called the Windows touch tab that makes it easy to navigate Windows 8 with just the touch or swipe of a finger. When pressed, it of course takes you to your Start screen, just like the Windows buttons on keyboards, PCs and tablets.
If you swipe up on the blue strip, it cycles through all your open Windows Store apps in Windows 8. And if you swipe down, it will reveal all the open apps (on the left side of your screen) for you to select the one you want. The mouse is available for purchase at a price of $39.95.
The next one is called as Sculpt Mobile Mouse and has has four-way scrolling feature in it. This means you can scroll sideways by tilting the scroll wheel to the right or left in addition to the vertical scrolling you’re used to. This makes navigating the Start screen in Windows 8 or apps that scroll horizontally a breeze.
The mouse is available for purchase at a price of $29.95.
